Dirty truth or dare, with the dares written for you
Truth or dare is the original adult party game, and it has one flaw: somebody has to come up with the dares. That is where it stalls, or where one person drags it somewhere the rest did not want to go. Play Dirty keeps the game and removes the flaw.
What changes
- The wheel chooses the heat. Spin, and it lands on a level from 1 to 6. Nobody at the table picked it, so nobody is to blame for it.
- The cards are already written. About 600 dares and 200 truth questions, sorted by level and by category.
- They fit who is playing. Players set who they are and who they are into, and the game only deals what makes sense between those people.
- There is a winner. Doing a card moves you along a board. First to the finish takes the prize the table set.
- Passing has a price, and that is all. A small penalty, no questions.

Three free cards, so you know the tone
Level 1: Stare into their eyes for 30 seconds. No talking. No laughing.
Level 1: Slow dance with them for 30 seconds. No music makes it dirtier.
Level 2: Trade one piece of clothing. Wear it until your next turn.
House rules that make it work
Everyone playing is an adult and is there because they want to be. Any card can be passed. A safeword, agreed at the start, stops the game for everyone the moment anyone says it. Hard limits are switched off by category before the first spin. And heavy cards are for clear heads: drunk is not consent.

Questions people ask
Can you play truth or dare for adults online?
Yes. Play Dirty is an adults-only truth-or-dare style game that runs in the browser at playdirty.app. A wheel picks the heat, the game deals a dare or a question, and you do it, answer it, or pass.
How is Play Dirty different from normal truth or dare?
Nobody has to invent anything. The dares and questions are written, sorted into six levels, and matched to who is playing. There is also a board, so there is a winner, and a penalty for passing, so there is a reason not to pass everything.
How dirty does it get?
As dirty as the table allows. Levels 1 and 2 are flirty and free. Levels 3 to 6 get progressively more explicit, and level 6 is opt-in with its own briefing. You choose the range before the game and can change it mid-game.
Can we play over the phone or on video call?
It is built for people in the same room. Everyone can use their own phone to take turns and read cards, but the dares assume you are together.
How many people can play?
Two to eight. Two is couple mode; three to eight is group mode.
