Short version: we keep as little as we can. There are no ads, no analytics and no tracking cookies. Your game stays on your device, unless you choose to put everyone's phones in it, which is explained below.
Player names, settings, game progress and card statistics are stored in your browser's local storage, along with a note that you accepted the Terms and which version you accepted, so you are not asked every time you come in. None of it is sent to us. Clearing your browser data deletes it.
This is optional, and only happens if the device running the game opens a room. Each phone then connects directly to that device. Our server only passes along the few technical details the two devices need to find each other, which include their network addresses. It never sees player names or cards on that route. To find those addresses, each device also asks a public address server (Google's or Cloudflare's), which sees the address and nothing else.
If a network will not allow two devices to connect directly (some mobile carriers), the game reaches that one phone through our server instead. For that phone, the server holds the current state of the game, which includes player names and the card being played, only long enough to pass it on. A room and everything in it is deleted when the device running the game closes it or leaves the game, and in any case after 12 hours.
We never receive or store your card number, billing address or other payment details. CCBill handles those under its own privacy policy.
Only to unlock what you paid for, restore a purchase on a new device, handle cancellations, refunds and chargebacks, and answer you if you contact us. We do not sell or share it, and we do not use it for marketing.
Purchase records are stored with our hosting provider, Netlify. We keep them for as long as the purchase is active and then as long as we need them for tax, accounting and chargeback purposes, usually no more than 7 years.
You can ask us to see or delete the purchase record linked to your email by writing to info@playdirty.app. Deleting it signs out every device using that purchase.
The Service is for adults only. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 18.
